Welcome to aformes, the journal of undergraduate creative writing of the Faculty of English Language and Literature! Although some of you may already be familiar with our printed version that has been appearing annually since 1997, this website is brand new: it is the product of the long-term planning, hard work and creative energies of our editorial team, combined with the generous sponsorship of the Faculty of English Studies and a European Program of the University of Athens, Greece.

In our website we aim to offer you both a fully-navigable, full-text archive of our previous volumes, and as many future editions as possible. Our mission statement remains the same: exciting new material, fresh from the multifarious creative resources of our students, carefully edited by the group of Faculty members and associates under the direction of Professor Liana Sakelliou-Schultz.
